The Clarosa Quartet was founded in 2013 by four Philadelphia-based musicians with a passion for exploring the chamber music repertoire, particularly that of the piano quartet. The ensemble’s first performance at the Hill at Whitemarsh was hailed by the Philadelphia Inquirer as “a splendid debut”. Highlights this season included a successful debut at the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, return engagements at Whitemarsh and The Brooklyn Library, as well as many other venues in the greater Philadelphia region. This summer they will be returning to the Kingston Chamber Music Festival in Rhode Island, as well as making their debut at the Luzerne Music Center in upstate NY.
All graduates of the Curtis Institute of Music, the members of the Clarosa pursue busy and varied careers as ensemble musicians, soloists, and teachers.
No admission fee; parking is available at the Abraham Lincoln garage
